      Experience iconic Tasmanian scenery from the magical and remote Three Capes over four incredible days of hiking. During this 4-day-3-night walk, you'll cover 33 kilometres of clifftop wilderness, witness an array of native wildlife at home among eucalypt forests, dense rainforests and coastal heathland and admire the incredible colours of coastal Tasmania from the decks of a private wilderness cruise.

      This moderately challenging walk leads through diverse natural landscapes with exhilarating clifftop outlooks on Cape Pillar, Cape Hauy and breathtaking views to Cape Raoul, Tasman Island and further south to Shipstern Bluff and Bruny Island. Your hike will take you past the enormous dunes and crystal clear waters of Crescent Bay, to the summit of Mount Brown, Arthurs Peak and Mount Fortescue. Throughout the trek, you will experience some challenging uphill and downhill sections and traverse some rocky terrain. You will also visit the World Heritage-listed Port Arthur Historic Site, Australia's most intact and evocative convict site, an essential heritage experience offering amazing insights into our nation’s past. The walk culminates in a 3-hour award winning Wilderness Cruise providing an alternative perspective on the striking coastal scenery and wildlife.

      Accommodation is included each night at Stewarts Bay Lodge, a 9 hectare (22 acres) property on the shores of Stewarts Bay. The Lodge is surrounded by white-sand beaches, crystal clear ocean waters and beautiful woodlands and takes advantage of spectacular views.

      All meals are included for the duration of the walk as well as transfers to and from Hobart. Small groups of ten walkers or less are hosted by two expert guides. Start your memorable journey with a boat voyage and some of the highest dolerite cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere will come into view. You'll then cover 46 kilometres of natural landscape with exhilarating cliff top outlooks on Cape Pillar, Cape Hauy and stunning views to Cape Raoul. Settle in each evening in the architecturally designed private lodges discreetly placed along the trail and enjoy Tasmania food and wine.

      This moderate graded walk traverses varied terrain through natural landscapes including ancient cliffs, fragrant forest, colourful heathlands, white sanded beach, and bronzed moorlands. Cruising from Port Arthur to set off your journey, you'll have opportunities to spot whales, dolphins or fur seals while enjoying the fresh salty air. Walk side by side up mosaic stone steps taking in exhilarating clifftop outlooks on Cape Pillar, and Cape Hauy. Revel in the fragrant eucalypt forests and stop at crystal clear waters of Crescent Bay for a dip. Throughout the hike, you will experience some challenging uphill and downhill sections and traverse some rocky terrain, including climbing Arthurs Peak (300m) and Mount Fortescue (490m) and the challenge of scaling The Blade at Cape Pillar.

      You will have exclusive use of the only private Lodge accommodation along the track. The two lodges are architecturally designed to sit lightly within the environment with stunning views. The Lodges do not forego creature comforts such as hot showers, with plenty of lounge areas and a dedicated relaxation area at Munro Lodge. There is also a Relaxation Pavilion at Cape Pillar Lodge offering Li'Tya treatments, for a little rejuvenation & healing!

      All meals are included for the duration of the walk as well as transfers to and from Hobart. Small groups of 14 walkers are hosted by two staff. All staff are highly experienced and knowledgeable. You need to carry a multiday pack for the walk.

      This 8-day Tasmania's East Coast trekking tour incorporates some of Tasmania's most stunning scenery and offer you a great opportunity to explore the highlights of the magical Tasmania's East Coast. Traverse spectacular fiery red rock beaches of the Bay of Fires and Mt William National Park, admire the dramatic granite peaks and crystal-clear waters of Freycinet and Wineglass Bay, discover Maria Island - Tasmania's Noah's Ark, witness the towering clifftops and amazing rock formations of the Three Capes and Tasman Peninsula region. Your finale is an exhilarating ride on an award-winning cruise to get close to the spectacular rock formations along the coastline and seals. This moderately challenging itinerary will reward you with some of Tasmania's most arresting scenery. Departing from Launceston, you'll begin first three day walking in Bay of Fires on the northernmost section of Mount William National Park. From its long beaches to teeming wildlife, unique history and abundant flora, Mt William National Park is a place of constant fascination. From here you'll explore iconic sights such as Boulder Point, Cobbler Rocks, Cod Bay, the pink granite lighthouse at Eddystone Point, and beautiful Anson's Bay across sand and headlands encountering some rocky trails.

      On Day 4, you'll head to 100 years old Freycinet National Park. Walk Wineglass Bay beach and Hazard’s beach on a circuit track and visit the world-famous pink granite beaches and contrasting white quartz beaches. Finish the stunning day with tasting of local oysters and mussels at locally owned Freycinet Marine Farm.

      Day 5 you'll start with a boat ride across to Maria Island and then take an easy Fossil Cliffs walk, which offers you an insight into the past environments of Maria Island.

      You'll hike and explore Three Capes and Tasman Peninsula region on the last three days. The Three Capes walk is rated moderate to hard, with rocky surfaces and many steps and climbs. On Day 8, you'll enjoy a 3-hour award-winning cruise passing close by the spectacular rock formations along the coastline.

      Your package includes 7 nights' accommodation on a twin share basis (single supplement available at additional expense), guided walks each day with experienced guides, meals and snacks, transport each day, and pickup from Launceston and drop-off Hobart.
